NY Tech Week is back June 1–5, and the calendar is packed. With over 1000 events happening across the city, it’s hard to pick where to go. Below is a tight, day-by-day guide for engineers, technical founders, and anyone who wants to hear what’s happening in the world of software. We're also hosting two events of our own, and would love to see you!
🗽 Monday, June 1 — Kickoff
Technical session with IBM covering context patterns, retrieval, memory management, and tool calling for AI systems that need to handle real complexity.
Panel with leaders from Slack, Amplitude, and Tightknit on how AI is actually changing how teams decide and act, and what separates AI that feels smart from AI that understands your business.
The official kickoff. Rooftop, 360° skyline, cocktails, and a tightly curated room of founders, investors, and operators. Relaxing way to end your first day.
🚇 Tuesday, June 2 — Agents, MCP, and DevEx
A full-day hands-on session with Microsoft and Tavily on what happens when search, agents, and payments converge. Lightning talks + a build session with Tavily, x402, and Lovable. Bring a laptop and an idea. Spots are limited.
Tech demos and chill drinks from the WorkOS and Postman teams — agents and APIs are the throughline. Big room (600 cap), so easy to drop in.
Hosted by us. Tech talks from Deskree, PostHog, Tavily, and Convex, then open networking. For engineers, technical leads, and founders who want to know what’s next in developer workflows.
🥯 Wednesday, June 3 — Hands-on builder day
A full-day hands-on workshop for developers and architects already on MongoDB. Field CTO Pete Johnson opens, then you spend the day "hands on keyboard" with MongoDB and Voyage AI models.
Live codelab at the Google for Startups Hub: build and deploy a multi-agent system using Google's Agent Development Kit (ADK), with Google Developer Experts on hand to troubleshoot. Bring a laptop and power cable. Includes a happy hour after.
Low-key evening for engineers, product leaders, and founders working on agents, evals, and shipping reliable AI in production. Music, food, drinks, and people working on the same problems you are.
🍕 Thursday, June 4 — Production agents and Codex
A two-day intensive where AWS Solutions Architects sit with you to turn one of your AI use cases into a working POC inside your own AWS account. Bring an actual problem, an engineer or two, and your AWS credentials. Leave with running code.
Coworking with unlimited Codex access, an AMA with the OpenAI team, and Codex demos on the next era of agentic delegation.
Hosted by us. Technical panel on production agents with Modal, Braintrust, Deskree and Tavily on things that matter: context management, eval frameworks that actually work, observability, and orchestration failures.
🎉 Friday, June 5 — Hack and wind down
Hosted by Intuit. Two days, one shared dataset, judged on causal reasoning, forecast accuracy, engineering efficiency, and a written methodology — not slide decks. Teams of 2–4.
Sentry, Neon, and Harness at The Lightbox for an immersive art-meets-AI-infra evening. Real talk on infra, plus food, drinks, and a lot of swag.
Close out the week on a Soho rooftop. Open-air networking, live music, and the people you've been running into all week, minus the badge.
See you in New York!
